Radiosurgery Center of Rhode Island is located in the basement of the APC building (Ambulatory Patient Center).

If you have any questions regarding parking please call the parking information office at 401-444-4013. From within the hospital, please call adult patient services at extension 4-5118 from any bedside phone.
Parking Fees
In order to maintain and improve our public parking lots, we charge modest parking fees.
- Under 15 minutes: Free
- 15 minutes to 2 hours: $4
- 2 to 4 hours: $5
- 4 to 24 hours: $6
Free and Reduced Rate Parking
Emergency department patients may park free in the parking garage beneath the emergency department. For free parking, be sure to have your parking ticket validated before leaving the emergency department; otherwise you will be charged the appropriate fee.
Parking is free in all public parking lots for anyone with a state-issued handicapped placard. Please notify the parking attendant if you need assistance.
Patients who receive medical treatment covered by Medicare or Medicaid may park free. Please show your Medicare or Medicaid card and proof of your hospital appointment to the parking attendant. Proof of appointment may include an appointment card or discharge paper.
Clergy making patient visits may park free with a courtesy sticker, available at the main information desk.
Students training at Rhode Island Hospital may park free in their assigned lot.
Immediate family members of patients may park free in our public lots after two weeks. A $5 fee is required for a parking card to access these lots until the patient is discharged. Please call 401-444-4013 for more information.
Anyone coming to the hospital regularly for outpatient services can purchase a parking card for $25, which will allow unlimited access to the paid lots for a three-month period. Please call 401-444-4013 for more information.
Lost Tickets
If you lose your ticket, you'll be required to pay the daily maximum of $6. You will need to show your driver's license and registration to the parking attendant.
Important
If your car is parked illegally or is blocking traffic, it may be towed. Parking in hospital fire lanes is prohibited and may result in immediate towing at the discretion of security. The Providence Police will fine any vehicle parked illegally in a handicap space.

Alternate transportation and bus routes
Taxi Cabs
We will gladly call a taxi for you. Please inquire at the information desk in the lobbies of the Zecchino Pavilion (main building), Jane Brown or APC Building.
Buses
Buses stop at the entrance to the Zecchino Pavilion (main building) about every 20 minutes until 6 p.m., and then approximately every 45 to 50 minutes until 11:07 p.m. Bus service to the hospital begins at 5:55 a.m. and ends at 10:59 p.m. RIPTA bus schedules are available at the main information desk.
- Bus #1 (Eddy-City Line) and #1A (Eddy-Gaspee plateau) travel from the city to Rhode Island Hospital and continue south into Cranston and Warwick.
- Bus #42 (Hope Tunnel/Providence) travels from Warwick and Cranston to Rhode Island Hospital and continues to Providence and Pawtucket.

Additional Services
Free Shuttle Service
Courtesy vans run from the public lots to hospital entrances and stop regularly at shelters in the parking lots from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you would like to call for the hospital courtesy van, please ask the parking attendant. Of course, if someone else is driving, you can be dropped off and picked up at the entrance to your building. You will find chairs conveniently located inside the entrances.
Security Services
A security escort is available 24 hours a day by calling 401-444-5221. For your protection, all Rhode Island Hospital parking lots are equipped with lighting, surveillance equipment, security patrols and "help" buttons on light poles. Security can help start a dead car battery and open car doors if you locked keys inside. Ask the parking attendant to call security if you need assistance.
Loaner Umbrellas
On rainy days, the parking attendant can loan a courtesy umbrella to patients and visitors.
